13 Days of Halloween Giftable Sock Packaging

While working at Majesty Brands, we were looking to create new sock sets to encourage people to buy novelty socks and turn it into a fun, giftable experience.
My Role
I worked as the packaging designer on this project, from creating the artwork to measuring product sizes and creating full dieline files to send to the factory.
The Process
This Halloween sock gift set is based on the idea of a Christmas advent calendar. The box opens like a book and contains 13 compartments, each with a different sock. I took this project from start to finish, measuring the socks and creating a layout to build the box, then creating art. I drew art for the cover of the box and used stock textures to elevate the look. For the inside of the box, I combined a hand-drawn scene with various stock icons and vectors to create a full scene.
My work on this project included setting up a full packaging file complete with packing instructions, sending to the factory, and communication with them on how to create the box and pack the socks.
